From Bluegrass Parkway (South) - take the Lawrenceburg/Harrodsburg exit onto Hwy. 127 South. Follow 127 past Anderson Dean Park, then turn left at the first light onto By-Pass 127. Turn left (North) at the next light onto U.S. 68 (Lexington Road). Follow 68 for 2 miles. Baxter House is on the left at Junction 1343 (Curry Pike).

From Lexington (at Man O'War Blvd) - take Harrodsburg Road South (U.S. 68). Follow U.S. 68 for 23 miles. Fork right at the Marathon, cross the Kentucky River bridge and pass Shakertown at Hwy. 33. Baxter House is 4.4 miles further, on the right at Junction 1343 (Currie Pike).

From I-75 - take Hwy. 150 to Danville, then take Hwy. 127 to Harrodsburg. Turn right on By-Pass 127, then right (North) at the second light onto U.S. 68 (Lexington Road). Follow 68 for 2 miles. Baxter House is on the left at Junction 1343 (Curry Pike).
