The Navy Room
This Romantic Room is decorated in all navy and cream and offers a queen size
four poster American Rice bed, cafe set for private dining, seating area,
stocked refrigerator, microwave with popcorn and hot chocolate, coffee/tea
maker, TV with Satellite, CD player w. CD's, and a large bath with oversized two-person
whirlpool tub. The view from this room overlooks lush Bluegrass farmland
with an incredible sunset over a two acre pond.

The Frontier Room
Following the Wilderness Trail blazed by Daniel Boone, a group of colonists led
by James Harrod made their way through Kentucky, where they established fort
Harrod - the first settlement west of the Alleghenies. This rustic room with
queen size log canopy bed and hand stitched, appliquéd quilt takes
one back to another era. The oversized two-person whirlpool tub is tucked
into a niche, and the surrounding log walls are graced by old fashioned
lanterns. Other amenities include a cozy seating area, TV VCR/DVD player with
movies, stocked refrigerator, microwave with coffee/tea maker, CD player and
CD's, and a private bath with a shower. This room affords the most spectacular
views in the house.

The Bluegrass Room
Many turn-of-the-century southern homes had an all-wicker sun room which
appealed to one's sense of comfort and well being. the focal point of this
charming room is a queen size wicker and iron canopy bed, and also offers a
seating area, cafe set for private dining, stocked refrigerator, microwave
w/popcorn and hot chocolate, coffee/tea maker, CD player with CD's, and an extra
large private bath with all the amenities. The view from this room overlooks
beautiful Bluegrass farmland as well as 100 + year old horse and tobacco barns.

The Derby Room
Nestled in the heart of Bluegrass country with horse farms minutes away in every
direction, it is fitting to have a room filled with thoroughbred memorabilia.
This room offers a queen size rustic sleigh bed and an iron day bed,
cafe set for your morning coffee, stocked refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, plenty
of books on thoroughbred racing, and a private bath with shower and
original claw foot tub. Adjacent to this room is an airy sun porch (fondly
referred to by the Baxter's as the "sleeping porch") with TV/VCR and
video library. Wall to wall windows overlook hundreds of acres of farmland, 2
ponds, and animals grazing in the field.
